This 4-wheeler had worn out a-arm bushings, but it wasn’t until I started removing pieces and parts that I discovered the reason for their early demise… A previous owner had racked the front end quite severely and didn’t quite get it straightened back out. With a little help from my stock car building friend, we will have this ATV back in the dirt in no time!!

This little XR70 has given it’s riders lots and lots of smiles!! It is obvious the bike has been tenderly cared for, but ridden hard and long!! When the drive chain finally wore beyond the physical limits of adjustment, it would have been wise to replace it along with the sprockets at that time… But, alas, the chain jumped off and was able to ball up and remove with one fell blow pieces of the generator cover, the ignition pick-up sensor and the plate it was mounted to… Ruh Roh Scooby!! Not a pretty sight!!
