Dancin in the rain…
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but these pictures simply do not portray the awful vileness that occurs in motorcycle carberators when ethanol based fuel is left alone for just a few weeks…. But after soaking and abrading the carbs, replacing a few items destroyed by corn alcohol and popping a fresh tire on the back side, I took it for a test ride where I got caught in a momentary down pour that threatened to become a deluge of Biblical proportions. But the sky relented. So the R6 and I did a little dance all the way back to the shop.
GT185 Jewel
1974 Suzuki GT185. This handsome ride has had a life not unlike that of Black Beauty, from a kind and loving owner to some lowlife delinquent who stole the little pony and took him for a joy ride. After I get him back in tip top shape, some lucky person will get the chance to park this scoot in a stable of their own.
