My wife put together this artwork to commemorate my first complete restoration since opening G6 MotoSports, and to present it to the Triumph owner when he picks up his beautiful bike this weekend! An original advert from an old Cycle mag and photos of before, during and after completion of his very first motorcycle once again in his possession!! Here’s to many miles of enjoyable riding and reminiscing for him!

Clutch Play
I’m not a real fan of “cheap Jap bikes” from back in the day, but this old Suzuki was so incredibly clean inside the clutch cover, I was quite impressed!! Compared to a Triumph or Harley from the same period, it’s apples and oranges… The engineering is akin to modern bikes of most any breed. Not to mention the low end torque of this small displacement (by today’s standards) two cylinder, two-stroke is phenomenal!! Leaking crank seal replaced and this little scoot should now be a fun and reliable!!
I love the smell of bean oil in the afternoon.
Finally put some heat in the old Rebel!! Smoked the whole shop out and the warehouse next door… All that’s left is trying to locate a replacement fuel tap and tidy up some loose ends so Rob can clean her up and put a smile on his face!
