Eighty years separate these two Indian Scout motorcycles. The first is a 1937, the other a 2017. They both run well and are pleasing to the eye. But I must say, it’s just a bit more enjoyable to push a starter button and zoom away on the newer bike….

1972 CB 175 Cafe
I was remiss in that I failed to get any pictures of this bike before I began stripping it. I completely pulled the bike apart, frame and tins were painted, top end of engine rebuilt and everything on the bike was cleaned, repaired, chromed, and/or customized. Chopped fenders, custom seat, shocks, bars, license plate mount and taillight, mirrors and headlight. New tires, chain and sprockets, and every gasket and seal that I could reach. Modified handlebar switches and a minimalist wiring harness so that it’s totally street legal and ridable, even the electric start works!! It was a seriously fun and taxing project that turned out just like I hoped and the owner was ecstatic, which is the best part!!
Two of a Kind
It’s not often to see a sidecar rig, but two maternal twins is quite unique!!! My friend John has been looking for a Harley sidecar the last couple of years and found one identical to ours! So I had to ride in yesterday just to have a photo shoot with these matching 1995 FLHTCU-I 30th Anniversary of the Electra Glide models! Too cool!
