Necessity is the mother of invention

Replacing a control cable on a jet ski is no simple task, but when you don’t have the correct tools, it can be impossible. And while I was aware I needed to access the retaining nut to remove and replace said cable, my efforts to utilize what was at hand proved futile. So, I designed a special tool from an old Craftsman socket and a fork tube removed from a 1971 Triumph Bonneville, walked it over to my friend Mike’s shop and had it welded together. Voila!! Victory is mine!!
