Tri Bling

These engine covers were meticulously plated by Spacecoast Plating in Melbourne, Fl. A top drawer job, they have plated motorcycle parts for me before and I highly recommend them!! Beautiful, bright finish was accomplished by seven coats of plating to remove the dinks and dents caused by 43 years of use. Now to get the tank and fenders to the paint shop…

Ethanol Shmethanol!! (just another rant)

As I read FDA and dietary labels on food we buy from the local grocer, it makes my skin crawl a little bit as I consider the extreme damage caused by distilled corn by-product being forced down our fuel tanks in the name of economics and going green and all that rot. The federal mandated ethanol additives to gasoline is not beneficial to your automobile at all and is incredibly destructive to your motorcycle and small engines. Why do you think they don’t allow ethanol laced fuel to be utilised in aircraft?? Why is aircraft gasoline of a different grade and octane then automobiles use? Maybe because they want the best possible fuel in them so they will remain in the air until the pilot decides the time has come to land… So, all this makes me wonder how many food additives are OK for the most of us…

Check out the barnacles growing inside the carbs of this old Honda…. #nomoreethanol

Speed Line

I’m not really sure how long it’s been since Yokohama last made motorcycle tires, but I’m pretty confident we can measure that in decades…. This 1973 CB750 will soon shed these old shoes for something a little more aggressive and gnarly.

I looked, but couldn't find a date code...
