Another beautiful British motor bike ready for trundling through Virginia’s verdant countryside! New valves and guides, cylinders bored .040″ oversize, new Amal carbs and a couple of oil leaks dammed up after a bit of fettling. Took her for a test ride today and those classic good looks and extraordinary teardrop tank emblem had folks twisting their necks to get a better view of this 1967 BSA A65 Lightning as she gobbled up the miles! A fellow on a brand new Gold Wing F6B even pulled next to me at a traffic light and expressed his admiration for the old girl!! A passion for two wheels also!!

Twinstar Scooter
I find it surprising that this is the very first Twinstar CM200T I have ever seen! This bike runs like a proverbial Swiss watch after a carb clean and some essential service, and makes 17 hp from it’s 11.84 ci power plant!!
